Dear friends and followers,

The sad truth is we can't change the world. But with ample imagination, discipline and organization, we can create our own and furnish it with great ideas, meaningful labor and outstanding people.

This year, I enjoyed another fairly productive year with so many remarkable collaborators: I produced a pilot episode for my series Flush which marked my first time working with a crew after 23 years. I also completed, premiered and held a limited online release for my 4th film Ask Delphi which boasts my largest cast thus far. And if you thought I only produced motion picture media, this year also saw the production and release of an album of Ben Morris' original music for my films in Rhenals-Morris: Vol. 1 (available on Bandcamp).

In 2026, there's plenty more to look forward to:

  • This February, Miami-Dade Public Library System and I will host a public screening of Ask Delphi and the film will bow on streaming services early in the new year as well.

  • With one episode down, production on two more episodes of Flush will take place in early and mid-January.

  • Daily work has commenced on my 2nd book Norstadt and I now expect this fully illustrated project to see publication later in 2026. Additionally, extensive behind-the-scenes (or behind-the-pages) content is being generated as work progresses; information about its access to be shared soon.

  • Even after three feature films conceived and completed nearly back-to-back-to-back since 2021, I'm ready for more! I expect to develop two more feature film projects later this year; of expectedly greater ambition than my previous work.

  • My personal website gabrielrhenals.com celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! What started as a simple supplement to my job seeking efforts a decade ago has since transformed into an essential strut of my creative life.

With all that shared, thank you for all your continued interest and support of me and my work this past year! Because I haven't been crippled by excess expense, unsustainable practice and ambitions of global domination, you can count on more to come!

To a more verdant 2026!
