One year ago today, I opened up a fresh Notepad document where my first ideas for what would become my first feature-length film, For My Sister, began to gradually coalesce. It is safe to say that the project has been on my mind every single day since then, including holidays. In the course of a year, the germ of an idea has grown into a full-fledged, 87-minute-long film, now just a few weeks shy of completion. The joy it has brought me and allowed me to share is beyond measure. And the journey is far from over!
