These composition studies, taken from a personal sketchbook, were produced for a Fall 2006 course in UCF's limited-access film program, called Cinematic Expressions. The course was an exploration of the basic elements (color, form, line, shape, space, texture and value) and principles (balance, proportion, emphasis, variety, movement, rhythm and harmony) of art as they apply to motion pictures. Absolutely loved it!
