If we translated the cost of one opus attributed to a single filmmaker to one opus attributed to a single painter, the cost per creative unit of action would be $3,250!
Who dares experiment, innovate or attempt to advance the form on any kind of significant scale at such a perilous rate? This is what filmmakers are supposed to aspire to?
