Completed my first feature-length film, For My Sister; enriched relationships with cast members, both new and familiar; organized well-attended screenings of the film (with more on the way in the new year!); spent quality time with my mentors and fellow creatives; deeply explored ancillary interests through reading and YouTube; spent 1/12th of my day walking for a stint; and began writing my follow-up feature (with a first draft expected in about a month!)!
Art is clearly my answer to the alarming and regressive trends of Middle-earth as of late but I'll quote some relevant Joseph Campbell:
"We're not on our journey to save the world but to save ourselves. But in doing that you save the world."
